Sierra Sagebrush Flyers

Sierra Sagebrush Flyers, Inc. is a club of model airplane flying enthusiasts.  We are located in Gardnerville, Nevada, which is about 15 miles east of Lake Tahoe and 15 miles south of Carson City.

We meet at 7:00 PM on the first Thursday of the month at Jim Kelso's house, 1745 Fir Tree Circle in Minden. Meetings are held in Jim's shop, in the back of the property.

We fly at the Douglas County Model Airplane Field on Pine Nut Road in southeast Gardnerville (next to the Douglas Disposal transfer station). Click here for map. Thanks to the great work of JP Sealing and Striping of Carson City, we have an awesome updated new runway!  Come check it out!
